The Draganflyer X6, the most recognizable sUAS on the market, makes two appearances in the July/August 2013 issue of Air Beat magazine.
In the article “Establishing a UAS Unit”, University of North Dakota professor, Alan Frazier talks about the challenges and necessary steps for the integration of a UAS into the hands of law enforcement agencies. Frazier, a long time user of the Draganflyer sUAS platform, shows off the setup and flight of the Draganflyer X6.
The Draganflyer X6 also shows up in the article “Privacy and Unmanned Aircraft”, with a beautiful shot of the FLIR (forward-looking infrared) camera configuration. The article goes on to talk about the regulations and limitations of how UAS platforms can be used within the United States.
